Thats why they say English is a Funny Language!!!

Hey all, just the other night I came across a sentence somewhere that goes like, "My first job was working in an orange juice factory, but I got canned because I couldn't concentrate. "
And then after giving it a thought I found some more interesting sentences like this one.
Posting some of them below:
I worked in the woods as a lumberjack, but I just couldn't hack it, so they gave me the axe.
I tried to be a tailor, but I just wasn't suited for it.
I tried working in a muffler factory, but that was exhausting.
I wanted to be a barber, but I just couldn't cut it.
I tried being a musician, but eventually I found I wasn't note worthy.
I got a job in a shoe factory; I tried, but I just didn't fit in.
I became a professional fisherman, but discovered that I couldn't live on my net income.
I got a job working for a pool maintenance company, but the work was just too draining.
I finally got a job as a
historian, until I realized there was no future in it.

And after reading this post, you're probably going to experience Deja Moo - the feeling that you've heard this bull before!

Favourite Hang Out spot of "Junta" "The Room" !!

Ya, its been four years (actually i guess 3 years as Junta was officially formed when all of us were in the second year!)now that the members of "Junta" have stayed together in thick and thin.(Though I doubt if there was ever a "thin").
But a thought came to my mind that it would be intersting to ponder where this "Awesome" Junta used to Hangout all thiese years. And no doubt the only name that will blast its way to the top of the  minds of "Junta" members is "The Room".

"Location":  1312, Antarang Building, Opposite Bharat Natya Mandir, Sadashiv Peth, Pune-30

"Area" :  Dont know the actual area, but its a Room!!! Approx 200sqft.

"Memories":
If it would not have been for the "Room", there would have been no Junta.
Thats the importance "Room" has in all our lives. be it preparation for the T1,T2s, midsems,
endsems, or be it "CS" or "TMN" or "FIFA"(now thats only for Cruiser and God), "The Room"
will always have a special place in all our hearts.
Now to tell our readers in detail about "The Room", it would take me days, but to cut a long
story short I can just say, that whatever we are, we have shaped to be, is all because of
"The Room" (seriously guys, im not exaggerating!)
The so called discussions that took place between Criuiser and Killer,(laugh all you want, but
those were serious discussions)were an enjoyment to all the listeners.
The discussions about the parties that we enjoyed, the finalisation of the hotel, again
discussions between the Veg and Non-Veg groups, about which bikes to take, "The Room"
has seen it all!!!
Also, any discussion about the Room would be incomplete without special mention to the
supporting characters:
1. The Bot- No need to say anything specific, but as you all know he was and will still remain
to be an integral part of "The Room ".
2."Suvarna"- Who can forget this name, and those ears!!!! Ya, but that kid definitely brought
a spark to the otherwise lazy afternoons we spent at "The Room".

"The Room " has also seen some of the best gaming sessions among the Junta members.
Be it CS, or TMN. The hues and cries of all members would definitely make the
neighbours feel that Room was no less than a battleground between T's and
CT's (or a racetrack in case of TMN!!!)

Who can forget the nightouts, that all non room owners had at the Room.(The trick
shown by Cruiser to Killer, Police and Don still brings a laugh to all of our faces,
especially the commentry by Don).

Also ,a special mention to the Parking which provided with some of the Finest
moments in Cricketing world among the "Junta" members.

I can go on and on and on, but as they say, " Don't put all your eggs in one basket" I'm not
going to put all my thoughts in one Post.(Already planning a sequel to "The Room".....!!!!).
So cya and may "The Room" light up the lives of others like us as it did ours!!!

yet another (eating) expedition by Don and Cruiser.

It was a perfect dinner, in my life, Ketan and Mandar you should regret again, any amount of money spent'd be worth it. I'd offer my party at Tareef instead of 'Pizza hut'. Thanks to Cruiser for taking me there.

Aa Dekhen Jara, the who, the where, why, and "How"???

Ya so all those who have seen Inside Man , treat this as a Joke and those who have not, consider this as my "writng skills".......

My name is Cruiser. Pay strict attention to what I say cause I choose my words carefully and I never repeat myself. I have told you the "who", (now here with me was also Don!!) the "where" could most readily be described as a Multiplex on University Road(got it guys??)as for the "why", besides the obvious reason that we wanted to see the movie, because we can!!(Cause we have lots of free time).

Now for the "How", read the Post caefully::

It was a regular saturday, and I had woken up late as always. I guess Don was also sleeping late till midafternoon that day. So I had decided that I'll go to our "Adda" (FYI Adda is Police and Killers room.), but not to play CS, to make a presentation to be given at nVIDIA. But as fate would have it , Police went to his Mavoshi's place and Killer went to his Kaka's place (the presentation was ready, and that was all that mattered.) So now I was a free bird, having nothing to do... and so was Don!!. So the phone call took place and we decided to watch a movie.
So, myself and Don went to E-square at 2 pm only to find out that the show is at 4 pm. So we brought the tickets and now we had entire 2 hrs to spend not knowing what to do...that to me is a disadvantage (one of many) of not having girls in our group. Anyway , to find some solace in the afternoon sun, we decided to have a Drink or two(Dont get too excited we only eat non veg but our drinks are all pure veg). So we went all the way to a juice shop near my house and after that to the shop which sells "Kokam" near our Adda, all this at a speed of max 30kmph that too on CBZ Xtreme(Killer this was a taunt for you!!). This way after passing 2 hrs we finally went and sat at our seats(middle row, centre seats) at screen 5 E-square to watch "Aa Dekhen Jara".

Now "about" is not included in the title of the post, and the post is getting realy boring, so will write about the "about" maybe later!!! So thanks for keeping your patience through the entire post, and I know it was boring so please no comments about that!!!!!!!!
